What are Inputs?
Inputs for MistServer describe any method you can use to point MistServer to streams or media to provide to viewers. This could mean whether you provide the stream by pushing it into MistServer, have MistServer pull in the stream from another location or provide MistServer to a local path for a media file. To learn more about setting up inputs we recommend reading up on the Streams concept.
- push inputs require a protocol to be set up in the Protocols panel
- pull inputs and file input do not require any setup other than providing the correct input source.
